How to Price a 3D Printed KPop Demon Hunters Clicker
These Huntrix fidget clickers ride a huge fandom wave and need no keyboard switch — but 4-color AMS printing has its own cost. Here's the breakdown and what to charge.

The KPop Demon Hunters Clicker by Clickz and Things rides one of the biggest pop-culture waves going — the Huntrix trio (Rumi, Mira, and Zoey) from the smash-hit animated film. Fan demand is intense, and a clicker version is exactly the kind of cheap, collectible merch that fandoms snap up.
What makes this one interesting to price is that it breaks the usual clicker formula in two ways: it needs no keyboard switch, but it does need four colors.
No switch, but four colors — where the cost moved
These are "no-cut" clickers: the click mechanism is fully printed, so there's no MX switch, no trimming metal pins, no glue. That removes the biggest component cost of every other clicker on our blog. But the cost didn't vanish — it moved into AMS multicolor printing, which means real purge waste and a longer print.
Here's a single character (about 25g of model across 3 plates, ~2.6h):
| Cost item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Filament (25g model + 15g AMS purge × $0.02/g) | $0.80 |
| Keyboard switch | $0.00 — none needed |
| Electricity (100W × 2.6h × $0.15/kWh) | $0.04 |
| Machine wear | $0.16 |
| Failed-print buffer (10%) | $0.10 |
| Labor (assembly + click-test + QC) | $2.00 |
| Packaging (bag + card) | $0.50 |
| True cost | ~$3.60 |
At the default ×2 markup that's about $7.20. But this is licensed-franchise fan merch with a captive audience — comparable items sell for $12–$18, and a set of all three (Rumi + Mira + Zoey) is an easy $30–$40 bundle.
The AMS purge is the line item to watch
With four colors, every layer change can trigger a filament flush. On a model like this, purge can be 40–60% of the model's own weight — the preset assumes 15g of purge against 25g of model, and that's not unusual. If you skip it, you're under-costing every print.
Two ways to keep purge under control:
- Batch all three characters on one set of plates so the AMS color changes are shared across the batch instead of repeated per character.
- Tune your flush volumes in the slicer. The defaults are conservative; dialing them in can noticeably cut waste — just test before committing to a big run.
⚠️ Two layers of licensing to check
This one needs more care than a generic fidget, because there are two rights questions stacked on top of each other:
- The model license. The design is free to download but non-commercial — the designer sells commercial rights through their Patreon. You need that before selling prints.
- The underlying IP. KPop Demon Hunters and its characters are an intellectual property owned by the rights holders. A model designer's commercial license covers their design work — it does not grant you rights to the franchise itself. Selling licensed-character fan art is a gray area that platforms like Etsy do take down on rights-holder complaints.
None of this is legal advice — but go in with your eyes open. Many sellers treat fan merch as a calculated risk for local/market sales; just know it's a risk, and don't build your whole shop on a single licensed character.
Why fandom timing matters for price
Trend-driven merch has a pricing window. While the film is hot, demand outstrips the supply of "official" merch, and fans pay a premium for anything featuring their favorite. That's when these command $15+. Don't anchor to plain-clicker prices during a peak — read the demand and price to it.
Print settings
Based on the Maker World profiles (one per character):
- Colors: 4 (AMS recommended)
- Plates: 3 per character — print the clicker top, plus the basic shell or the keyring shell (you don't need both)
- Print time: ~2.6–3h per character
- Supports: none needed for the no-cut design
- Filament: PLA; print lighter colors before darker ones to avoid bleed (a common note from makers on this model)

Use the button above to load one character into the calculator. Keep the purge weight honest — it's the whole story on a 4-color print — and sort your licensing before you list. Then ride the trend: price toward $15 while demand is hot, and bundle all three for the fans who want the whole crew.
